Funda.Work is a platform that connects young people with right skills and work experience they need to secure their future by providing them with internships, work experience, and mentorships in the areas of business, technology, media, digital marketing, and more.
We work with employers across multiple sectors that are looking for self-driven young people that have demonstrated initiative to develop themselves beyond traditional schooling, that’s why we have multiple of short courses that you can take, some for free, so that you can build your profile and stand out from the rest.
You will also get access to mentors who will empower you with invaluable skills to build a successful career, and also learn about the sector, training and education authorities, known as Seta’s that fall under the ambid of the department of higher education to drive skills development and vocational training to make sure that people have relevant practical skills and opportunities to work.
There are a total of 21 SETAs in South Africa. Each one manages and creates learnerships, skills-based programmes and internships in its sector. Every industry and job in the country is covered by one of the SETAs.
